My cousin hit a gutter in his vn, I know it have a different diff setup but because of the impact to the wheel, it punched the diff over 3", punched out the rhs guard, snapped the diff mounts and cracked 2 rims. Also the rhs door wouldn't shut properly

I'm no expert at all but I would have thought that the broken parts in the suspension has probably absorbed some of the impact. Maybe the vehicle won't be too bent. I have seen a lot worse repaired. If he finds a. Good panel beater who is willing to work with him it shouldn't be too bad.

Thanks for the heads up rod. No way I'm leaving my car with them to fix, wouldn't be surprised if they pull some good parts out of my vehicle and fit faulty ones. they don't seem too professional, do they?

Nah mate they really aren't, were hard to deal with, wouldn't freight engine and kept blaming couriers, and when it finally turned up it was a dodgy engine!!! They then tried to tell me that this was the engine in the car..... I said "well walk out and have another fkn look!!! Surely u wouldn't miss the fact it's a standard fkn falcon!!!" Plus they purchasd the red rocker cover from a tuner down there to put on my engine and were sooo stupid and left that tuning companies sticker on it!!. Rant over.....

But yeh don't know if rear cradles etc have serial numbers etc but I'd definitely check them and DO NOT leave your car with them.

Good luck mate hope u get it fixed up.

How hard did you hit the kerb?

Im a panel beater by trade, and wondering if the suspension took all the impact.... can you see any creases in the floor under the carpet, or near the sills? still got me scratching my chin on how the side airbags deployed.
