They sure dont like to admit their v8s are slower than turbos. Often stating that rigged top gear au video with the f6 vs ve clubsport where they launch the clubby properly and take off in the f6 like a Nanna going to the shops... Lols

The v8 commos go good at the drags, they hook up well and generally have good progressive power that makes them less prone to wheel spin than our turbo 6's.

I don't know what commys you guys are all "chopping" etc (probably complete pus box commys) but I've owned (and loved) both and I've seen plenty of "choppage" handed out from commys to fords too.

I dont have any one eyed allegiance to any car make (I just love a nice fast car) and I love the commodores, they are bloody great cars. The only reason I didn't buy a ve is because it's interior is crap and I wanted a turbo 6.

The vf is equally a complete fail in opinion. Such a shame that its great running gear and suspension etc is wrapped up in that special school finger painting of a body.

Nope, just 8's driven by blokes that know how to drive an eight v's a turbo 6. Any of you that have done events will know that if you are behind a na v8 comming out of a corner that is driven by someone that knows what he's doing, they will slow you down till you have to down shift to first then they will hit the gas and jump out 3 or so car lengths while you smoke em up because you had to hit the gas in first.
