Then throw on the computers and injectors and got the sucker up from 205 rwkw up to 268.7 rwkw. Now that's a tough t for stuff all bucks. (lets say around $3k)

But problem has arisen 60 rwkw gain is just not enough.

Wow great figures ther mate...good effort :crybaby:

Since we are talking dollars vs performance I don't think you can go past the phase 1 package. Sure you can get a lot more power with phase 2 and so on but then driveline upgrades need to be looked at so the dollars it would cost would be realatively high in my opinion. Whereas the phase 1 offers a good increase in power but still within the limits of the driveline, I think, am I right on this?

I agree with adamxr6t the phase 1 is priced well for what you get and the factory gear can handle it for the small power gain you get with phase II put with the extra $$$ you pay I think phase 1 is the go I am booking my car in this week look out hsv. :crybaby:

Seven months has passed since the last post on this thread. I would have thought there have been some advances in affordable modifications since then? I reckon Bang for your Buck options have changed. Would be helpful, especially for newbies.

Maybe compile a list, outlining mods and power levels they produce:

- < $1000

- $1000-$2000

- $2000-$3000

- $3000-$4000

- $4000-$5000

etc

Maybe start a new thread for this up to date info? What do you all think?

Well done know if its anything new to you guys, but heres my BFYB mods. I just had my car tuned at HPF doing a special with the Ford EDIT inc tune for $1300, had them fit Eugenes injectors $495 + $80 for fitting. Ive done the $33 2nd CAI myself and 2 hotdogs replace the center muffler $200. So far a total of bout $1950 and have netted 252rwkw. Stock made 194rwkw with 2nd CAI and center muffler deleted. :ermm:

Next is valve springs and full exhaust upgrade!!! Which will take me to clutch faliure :spoton:

Hi Guy's,

I'm fairly new to this so please bare with me! I'm sitting back waiting for my new Rapid XR6T MKII Auto to arrive.

I'm confused about the APS Stage I kit. I've been quoted prices close to $3,000 S&F which includes injectors. I'm also told that I can't buy the kit with out them.

I have noticed that Peter from APS quoted Stage I at $1650 last year.

I would like my T to have 240rwkw. Can this be done safely with Unichip only or similar upgrade and can it be bought that way. Alternatively what would you recommend?
