I scanned the error code with torque app and it came up with B1318 body Ive also noticed that ABS seems to randomly engage at times when braking and sometimes it doesn't when going along the same stretch of road at the same speed On top of that the gearbox (auto) started flaring when I got the DSC fault and hangs onto the gear longer instead of upshifting when in drive

Im willing to bet the rears have worn down to the point that the variance is >5% and this is what is causing your issue.

Can Ford adjust / recalibrate the ECU to take the new tyre sizes? The DSC error hasn't come back since I cleaned the wheel sensors though. Could that cause the airbag fault too?
