Haven't got time to go to the strip at the moment. Yea the wheel thing is right but I was running 18's and mate was running 20's

If the tuner had supplied a package to make XXX amount of power then it is their job to make sure it does it and if it doesn't then they need to find out why, but if a car is presented with a combo done elsewhere it is just their job to tune it, if it doesn't perform it's not really their issue, but they should be willing to chase it but this may come at added cost.

I think he hasn't had much experience with things such as the id1000's and that's where my other problems are arisingYes I agree with mick but when the customer is trying to did out what's holding the power back and is willing to pay then you'd think there'd be some definitive suggestions. The cat is most likely the restriction as suggested by him but hasn't been confirmedAnd freaky if it was 5 difference I wouldn't care but it was almost 30rwkw difference..Either way not sure how this thread went this way, just wanted a second opinion on the cat and will most likely be ordering one off mick and fitting it and then having a retune trough gentech. At the end of the day the power thing is my problem and something I have to resolve/wear the cost of, fixing my other issues with the tune the tuner is resolving and has been doing at his cost which is good. Bellato Donating Members 2,713 Member For: 14y 1m 9d Posted 06/09/13 10:10 AM Author Share Posted 06/09/13 10:10 AM (edited) Well been through a few things. First was still stalling with 680rpm idle but found out the 100psi fuel pressure was the cause so fuel reg went in.Then stopped stalling but wasn't happy with the high idle so had it dropped back to standard (550) and started stalling again. He then bumped it up to 570 and still stalling. Then changed something like the throttle response to 1:1 and still same issueThen most recently he put more timing in at idle as well as more air? Or something along these lines. I'm not a tuner so hard to fully understand. Still stalling but have gone back to Griffith for 2 weeks so can't take it backUse to stall when pulled up in drive now only stalls when you up in park or go front drive to reverse. And only happens when warm and sometimes not every timeYea but had a retune and made 294 and mate made 321 Edited 06/09/13 10:10 AM by Bellato
