You can pick it (and smell it) a mile off when a late model car, well a car that should be running a cat, is not.

Do it once, do it properly, do it right! Will be cheaper in the long run.

Cat or no cat.. were all kiddin ourselves

No after market cat will meet emissions. (100/200 cell etc)

Yes..worse if you get caught with a hollow one.. that shows intent

But If you've got an aftermarket one and you get tested your still screwed...

Were all navigating a minefield.. its just if or when you get done...

by hook or by crook he wants to break that 300......

if all cars were built the same, and all tuned on the same dyno, on the same day, using the same petrol, strapped down identically, by the same tuner, yeah fair enough.

I guarantee you, that my car wont make identical power if I took it to two different dyno's. simply wont happen.

From the beginning iv been making comparisons to a car that was tuned with similar mods by the same tuner on the same dyno. Except mine was tuned in winter and his in late spring so 15degrees temp difference was in my favour

And if its going to be a cheap and certain way of getting more power (just changing the cat) then why not?

Excuse me if im wrong but dont most Dynomometers adjust for ambient temperature? Therefore power runs done summer to winter will not differ widely?
