Hey everyone! I'm looking at getting the DJR Bobtail for the f6.

Now just a couple of questions - Being fibreglass is it a good solid product?

Does it use the same holes that the standard spoiler uses? Any fitting issues?

And 1 for the WA guys has anyone had a bobtail fitted at the spoiler shop? We're they any good?

Cheers

I have one n my fg turbo, fits great, using original holes, feels fairly solid. Needs sanding prime and paint after purchase.

I often swap from the standard spoiler to the djr lip, so I modified the wiring with some spade and female crimp lugs, now takes me less than 5 minutes to swap from one to another

I've got one on my BA, I got it off eBay, and you could get them either painted, or unpainted.

I got a painted one, and the color match is spot on, better the the panel shop that did the V8 bonnet for me.

The fit is very good, and the spoiler feels very solid.

Uses all the original holes.

Hope this helps.

wouldn't it be easier to just buy a G6ET boot? Same colour would make thing 10x better straight bolt on.

I like the idea of switching from one to the other when the mood takes you.

Is the XR boot the same as F6, bolt hole wise ?

where did you guys buy it from?

I bought one off ebay from fibresports or something like that.

turns out they went outta business, but were still taking orders and never shipping it.

I lodged a complaint with paypal and got my money back luckily.

just for the record...

I bought one from this guy:

http://stores.ebay.com.au/spoilersgaloreptyltd/

delivery was super quick.

product was fantastic. the raw fibreglass needed a bit of finishing, but that is to be expected. :)

So I went to the spoiler shop to have a DJR bobtail fitted to my F6 but it doesn't cover the holes from the middle strut on the F6 spoiler! Poor bloke had already painted it up, he kept it though as I did specify what car it was for.

So is there a lip type spoiler that actually covers all the F6 holes?

And if you want a cheap bobtail in Petroleum colour give him a call...
