My motocross bike had to be angled to close the tail.  And every other bike for that fact that's been on it.

With having a BF though I could leave bikes straight and tie tail up at about 30-45 degree angle.

Mine and a mates was the same.. he put 2 bikes in his bf with the gate on a angle I could only do 1

I spoke to my tyre guy and he confirmed the KU39s are replacing the KU31 that I love so much. Get the KU39 and let me know how they go :)

Think I have settled on the Kumho but what is the difference between the KU31 and the KU39??

both about the same price $20 difference set of 4 fitted.

You'll find KU31 is an all rounder, KU36 will have superior dry handling but worse wet handling. It's basically a street legal semi slick. Better alternatives to the KU36 (but more expensive) are the Yokohama AD08 or Hankook RS3.

I'll be trying Nitto Invo out next personally.

We're talking KU39 not the semi slick 36 :)

Forum posts I've found around the web generally seem to say the KU39 cost more but are as good if not better than KU31.

Performance wise, so far so good. Previously was on KU31 & V12 but find KU39 is more refine.
Surprisingly for a UHP, KU39 it quite soft and very quiet, hence not sure how it perform on cornering. Otherwise Dry and Wet performance is as good as KU31 if not better.

Maybe have a read through here on the KU39s

http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Kumho/Ecsta-KU39_2.htm

Main complaint seems to be the wear rate.
