Turbo Or Supercharge

Hi All,

Been searching forums for a few months now since purchasing my Territory Ghia. Picked up a non turbo with low K's for really cheap so it is not really viable to sell it to get a turbo considering the price I got it for.

Now I am looking for ways of making some cheap power. Just a bit more punch (and probably get the bug and go all out later)

Currently putting in a set of Hertz 6" splits front and back, amp upgrade and custom sub box in the back (upgrade the stock) and a new head unit.

Any advice in give my Terry a bit of kick would be greatly appreciated.

Mate, even though you say its not viable to buy a TT, if you got your N/A cheap enough and can make a profit on it, the money you'll spend to make it SLIGHTLY quicker would be better spent on upgrading to the turbo model (which will be considerably quicker) IMHO.

What trans has it got? 4 speed or ZF?

That will dictate what you do.

Im not sure if the N/A 4 speeds and T 4 speeds are the same? If the N/A 4 speeds are weaker, you wont be doing much.

Thanks Guys.

My current terry goes well, but could do with a little pep in its step (mainly down low).

What kind of mods would one look into if I where to keep it n/a and just give it a little more punch. I have already replaced the air filter, and was exploring a high flow cat.

Ultimately I am just after a nice running car with a little pep, not really a flying barge. :)

if it has a btr youll need to edit the tune with a diff raito swap. building a turbo na engine like you originally said would be the go, otherwise the usual headers/exhaust/intake mods and call it a day
