Its a film.. similar to how they do the vinyl wrap. The "kit" is computer cut to suit the vehicle and applied wet like window tint. Dries. If you get up close youll see it..and whites probably the worst colour for that. on any other colour youd be hard pressed to see it.

They can actually cover the whole vehicle. They do it on the Targa Tasmania exotics and the like..

Best 1000 bucks I spent ..

350-400 for front bumper with both colours done.

Last time I got bumper, bonnet, one side skirt and two front gaurds for around 1000-1200 cash

Stone chips and scratches really pi#$ me off. I have more scratches and chips on my FG in 7 months than what my VE had in 4 years!

Will definitely be getting some touch up paint though, how much does it roughly cost?

Is that Genuine paint for $10? Mine cost me $25.

I'm wondering how well the Spray on stone guard stuff works. would prefer something that's like a clear wax that resists stone chips so it looks like it's not even on there.

First bottle I bought from Ford - $15.

Second bottle from Ford a few years later - $10.

It is made by a third party though, not Ford themselves.
