The eternal struggle. Looking good without looking like any other car on the street.

Go all black and put a white pin stripe on them?

Definitely give this a go.

mmm... Possibly, would you mind trying it out on photoshop Steve? I'm still so torn between them. To me, the black is still too.... average looking, especially on white.

My brothers FG F6 has black plastidipped "twisty" rims, and its nice but, its just so nothing to me. I don't like that theres nothing to break up the colours, its just black.

No worries, took longer than I'd hoped to get the source images and whatnot but it was kinda fun anyway.

Rimskins are what you are thinking of I'm sure!

Just found this review, LOL. Anyone used them and care to comment?

Terrible

- Terrible

Mastadd posted this on Oct 12, 2009

having just got my first set of 18" rims for my ute, I was very concerned about putting them into a gutter parking, mainly as this is my daily driven car.
after following all the instructions to a tee, and viewing the instructional video on the website, I decided to only fit it to One wheel, as the Finish was Terrible, and so I left it.

now 5 days after fitting traveling to work at 80Kph, the Rimskin came off, but not before it flapped around violently taking my side indicator off and braking it, and also scuffing the paint on my 1/4 panel. I would exercise ex-stream caution using this product. it has been quite an expensive experiment for me.

RimSkin: rrp: $49.95, (actually paid $40-)
New indicator: $20-
Cut and Polish of damaged panel: $40 in product and my time.

Very Disappointed

+ The idea of it,
a protective lip for your rims! sounds great,
"blends into the color of your rims" Fantastic,
Buy them from your local Expensive Daewoo Dealer.

- The Product spin is far from the truth,
these items not only look tacky,
but do not "blend" into anything.
the Australian term "stands out like Dogs B*lls" comes to mind,
