My Thermo fans are staying on after short (3-4km) drives, in cool weather. And virtually every drive

The engine is always warmed up before I drive, but I've always done this. The Thermo Fans staying on seems to be a recent thing.

Oil Temp gauge seems to often be in this position(pic):

These issues are with sedate driving. I have heard bubbling behind the instrument cluster ( coolant is at correct level ).

Is this likely to be a flow issue in the cooling system, or Faulty temperature sensors? Thanks

My BF will start the fans when I restart it within 20 mins after driving. Engine sitting soaking heat I guess, but the mates v8's dont do this, only the 6's?

All in the programe I suppose?

It seems really common in the b series, seen lots doing it, only 6's though.

Whats the easiest way to remove an air pocket Kimbo?
