Clutch is starting to slip above 4th gear (has original stock ap racing twin plate clutch)Trying to get info on what clutches came as stock. Does the fg xr6 turbo have the same twin plate clutch as the ba typjoon ?? Etc.Will bf 6 speed xr6 turbo clutch fit on the ba typhoon fly wheel?Rang around no one seems.to know for sure. Even though they sell clutches. It's a ford not a fn ferrariI would rather stick with original flywheel. Not keen on after market flywheels. Just plate and disks

The FG is a single plate 11 inch. Your BA flywheel is certainly drilled for the twin plate and maybe the single 10.5.Both the factory BF and FG clutch are none too charming but do an adequate job for what they were designed for ( I am sure there will be other opinions on that). I guess it is a dismantle job and inspect. I very much doubt the FG clutch would go straight onto the BA flywheel.Hope this helps a bit.

And see if they will provide part numbers for plates and pressure plates. Ap racing clutch es are cheap as chips in uk. Not paying drug money to ford at 10 x the real price. Ford quotes me $1100 just for friction disks. Lol.

That's all I know. Maybe the 6 speed xr6 turbo clutch was single plate
