I would definitely rate the 6235 over the GTX.

Unless of course you plan on doing some serious strip racing, the GTX has proven results but imo is a bit of a street slug

Cheers, where are you guys getting your info the pressy? Anyone got data for turbs vs turbs?

I was recommended the pressy too, good to see other ppl backing that up

Still yet to see a PT6235 do over 500 rwkws.

Yes it may out spool a GTX35 but will it have the top end that the GTX has.

I think this is why guys love the GTX, It has the pull in the top most of our turbos lack.

drag racing, numbers and pulling to redline and beyond - GTX

response, driveablity and performance - precision

downsides

GTX slightly laggier

precision wont pull the numbers a GTX does

Then again other spec turbos have better response and seem to keep up with the GTX aswell.... just need a bit of stuffing around to get them built.

It's not about the power figure it's how it gets there. My gtx gets smashed @ 60-70k roll ons against my mates 6235. We both make the same power however hes making it 18psi @ 2800.

Same tuner if you were wondering, only difference is he has a pw stage 3 cooler while I have a Crapidsystems
