If there is an area of concern then target that only, but don't go spraying water around the engine bay.I had a mate who cherished his VL Late model camira back in its day. Something like 20000km in 5 years. Anyway he would degrease the engine bay regularly with no real reason. It just played havoc with the electrics.I have a work VT Commode and have never done an indiscriminate degrease. Only target areas that you need the grease off and don't get any of the electrics wet.Degreasing was Ok back in 70s when you had no electrics, not now. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
