Hey guys,

Complete newb here who bought an FG series xr6 and am wandering if these wheels http://www.talebtyres.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=&part_no=1405 will fit with the stock 245/45/17 tyres, or if I need to find some 17x8 which is what the stock wheels are I think? There is still plenty of tread on the tyres so I want to stick with 17's, also if the car gets serviced at Ford will they pull you up on changing from the stock wheels if the cars still under warranty?, or do people just put the stockies back on for that?

Any advice or wheel reccomendations appreciated.

Thanks

Why would you go something smaller than standard? I suggest sticking with stock wheels if they're what you're considering

But if you want them, it says multistud fit so you'd have to check with taleb (who are a forum sponsor) to see if they come in the write stud pattern and offset, I'd say so though

Also you shouldn't have many dramas with warranty but change the wheels over if you're worried

You don't want them wheels. No no no.

Buy a decent set in 19"+, and save your oem wheels for when you sell. Ford won't mind.
