They could always use the ZF-licensed 6R80 that Ford build themselves and use in the diesel territories. In fact that'd be a better option, not quite as refined but tougher and betterer with all those torques. :msm:

that's a good point and possibly an option if they do manage to get through what they have stock piled. No idea what numbers they have but I doubt they will sell enough performance models to run out.

I think most people will get used to the looks as it's definitely not, "AU Falcon, only a mother could love ugly"...

For me, the more I see it, the more I'm settling in to the look of it...

In all honesty, I'm starting to like it, I just hope it doesn't make my FG look too out dated when it's released...

g6 looks way better than the xr in imo.....

G6 looks like an XR with a tacked on cheap ass chinese grille..

g6 looks way better than the xr in imo.....

exactly the same shape except colour and style of grills/ spotties.
