mate I had a ba tuned and was told by every one that id get 300rwkw with the set up I had and it went 275rwkw that's it. few months later I went to another tuner after seeing all these huge power figures for the same mods and it went 280rwkw. As ratter said not all cars are the same, same set up as mine in a BA went 305 same tuner but mine didnt like it plus mine was 15kw less stock than the other one as well.

Could of probably spent a fortune to find out why but why bother for 10-20kws

Do you have any indication of what it made on a stock run?

Or were parts fitted before it got to the tuners shop and they were unable to run it stock?

Nah not looking at different tuners at the moment but have to go to Melbourne in December so may stop by n see mick but wait and see at the moment.

Yea that sucks! I guess it could just be the car. Just hard to accept it in my thick head, I'm pretty stubborn

Nah had half the mods on before getting to tuner

I too was wondering about the boost tapering off to whether or not that'd make a diff. Maybe ratter or another person who does tuning could give some info on that.

Yea that was another thing the boost! Most guys taper to 12 not 10. I wonder if between the dump and stock actuator it couldn't hold that much boost consistently?

Log books until I bought it at 78,000. Off the top of my head every 10,000kms services were done! As you also know I serviced it, flushed coolant, flushed zf and changed diff oil all before the tune aswell

Yeah you are right about torque not being comparable, only use as a rough guide as even tyre size will affect it.

what boost are they trying to achieve?

check your turbo fins for damage
