Not long had a set of Kumho KU19's fitted all round 245/35 R19, probably not what you'd call a "performance" tyre, But handling in the wet is on par with the Dunlops not to mention much more quieter in the cabin, The car is stock and only get's driven to and from work so no real need for anything too good but definitely a tyre to keep in mind.

^^ I hated my ku19's when I had them on the front, sooo noisey!

On a side note Kroozin, not to be picky but they are atr 1's, I wonder if the series 2 are any better in terms of grip degradation and delamination

No they don't, but you should look at going 245/40 on the rear. I believe that higher profile will actually give more in grip than an extra 10mm wide will. You will have to deal with a different front and rear rolling diameter though but shouldn't be all that much

You would be suprised how much extra profile you pick up from going to a 255. I gained a tad over 7cm circumference when I went from 245 to 255.

Holy cow, best tyres money can buy only $320 at Tempe tyres. 245/40/18 Michelin pilot super sport. A week ago got a quote from jax , best price $460 each, Tempe tyres price is even cheaper than importing from tirerack USA. Might bite the bullet after one more weeks pay.

Get a manufacturing date on them. At that price they'll be old stock I believe.
