Yea interested to know how long the 595's lasted.

A member on here has them on the back of his 400rwkw BF and he says they hook up great. He got 12,000 out of them so far with still plenty to go.

If the 595's are going to grip a lot better than the achilles for the same price, and as long as they last at least 20,000 (which from all accounts they will) then I might try them

As much as the invo's seem great given what I earn I can't afford to pay $700 for 2 new tyres every 9 months

I have Michelin Pilot Super Sports in my FG at about 300rwkw. Extremely Good tyre, it grips really well with minimal wheelspin. In roads where going at 40km/h then putting the throttle all the way open, kickdown then would result in the car flinging sideways on the factory tyres, with the PSS the car stays glued to the road

Upgrade the fronts aswell and you will get better steering response and feel and the car will also feel better during cornering.

Does not make more noise, if anything it is quieter than my factory ford Dunlops.

In the wet you can push the car a little bit and still have traction at times, but really dry performance is what matters.

I cannot compare them to other tyres that I have no tried before, but if you ask me if the upgrade is worth it I'd say you have my tick of approval.

The 595 evos are very grippy when new until half worn, then they don't grip well at all. Mine went from grippy to slippy so quickly I was sure they were bald but when I looked under the car I found they had at least half tread left. I like the 595 evo tyre but im looking for a change to another brand now.

^^^ atrs are the same.

I'm running an accelera (I think they call it) 255 35 19 @ 170ea.. 300 tread wear 1st impressions is they stick better than the atr sports 245 35 19 however they are a much bigger tyre. See how they go after 10000kms.

that's with grandma driving, wondering how long they last with people who actually drive their cars hard

I got over 15,000 klms out of my last rear set of Invos in my 400+rwkw turbo.

No grandma driving and about 30 - 35 big burnouts and passes at WSID.

Invos are one of if not the best bang for buck tyre and anyone looking for more grip should definitely try them.

Here's a couple more for you.

Hankook RS3's (In summer they out perform the Invos)

Kumho PS91, this has just been released and looks very promising, it's also very reasonably priced.

Just bought a new pair of Goodyear Eagle Assymmetrics II for $215 corner - luv those tyres. Grip like anything and Made in Germany

Where Did you but them from? Tempe Tyres are selling them for around the same price.... how do they look...sum people commented the edge looks a bit weird. I think they sound like great value

Just reading about the kumho ps91. 19 and 20 inch only, designed for supercars and ultra high performance etc. Different tyre design for front and rear.

Nexen? Which ones?

I have heard from somebody that N6000's Value for Money are good but with the amount of Power our cars make low down they spin tyres at really low speeds so you really need a good tyre.

Rednose how did the Invos grip with that much power and what size did you have?
