dpj961 Member 2 Member For: 11y 4m 12d Posted 06/08/13 07:26 AM Share Posted 06/08/13 07:26 AM Hi I'm having issues with a mechanic putting in a replacement second hand ECU for my 02 BA XR6TApologies for the somewhat vague details as I'm Overseas at the moment and can't access the car myself so I'm getting info through an unhappy wife.The old (faulty) Part had a ECU part number ending in D Which had been overwritten with a E apparently as part of a ford software upgrade.Anyway the replacement part has a part number ending in CThe car runs. but the wife is saying it doesn't feel right.The mechanic.. well let's just say I'm looking for answers from someone who know what they're talking about.Can anyone provide a definitive answer on what ECU part numbers are appropriate for a BA XR6T please?
