A shutter rolls up over the number plate (front and rear) activated by a button on the steering wheel (damn I hate speed cameras)!

 that sounds awesome! :censored:

Yeah, I reckon that if I went into production with these things, I would be a busy man. Probably slightly on the illegal side though!

Hey GOD666, mate the premium sound does play MP3's through the AUX function.

There is a link in the forum about it, if I can find it I will paste it on. It is basically a $35 part from ford. Or $5 and about 1hr of your own time! :ta:

Isn't that just an audio input? You need to buy a separate MP3 player and batteries of stuff around with power adapters.. a lot of fuss, and you can do it now with an FM transmitter interface to ANY FM radio.

What I want is the in-dash player to be able to read MP3 CDR disks.

My drivers window does exactly the same thing. Very annoying.

that's normal. The delay should be a bit longer though so you can better control the window manually. An auto UP function would be good too.

The delay is almost non-existent. Is that what you are saying?

A lot of these can be done to series 1 if you wanted.

Auto up and down on all windows and illuminated switches can be done.

The gearchange can be made better with either an SVO lightning shift or Herrod Sureshift

A unichip will bring you up to 280kw and improve economy.

Instead of a 75L take get a unichip and run Optimax this should make about the same difference.

Gearnob can be changed (bloody hard to unscrew)

Can run mp3 through AUX or if you want a more factory setup get the blau system mounted in the tissue holder.

Brakes can also be upgraded. DBA slotted etc

If you have premium audio all you have to do is add the globes for front footwell lights.

Having said all this, I agree that it would be bloody nice if the car had all this to begin with!
