Will be speaking to a few turbo guys I know to discuss, as long as it can make close to the power of a .7 then I'll be happy as it will save me buying an intake, relocating the battery and upgrading to a larger diameter hits ode pipe.

Thanks Gilly.

Spoke to John from Precision Turbos in Wetherill Park, he reckons I'll lose no more than 20hp but will spool a little better.

He quoted $500 to supply and machine a second hand .5 cover, ceramic coat the rear housing and manifold and put the turbo together.

Should save me almost 1K as PW air box, battery relocation and hotside piping would have been around the 1.5K mark, plus all the labour I will now save as it will simply be r&r of turbo and manifold.

Spoke to a couple of more guys including my tuner and they all think the core will outflow the .5 cover so will be sticking with the .7.

I'll be trying to squeeze a 4 inch silicone house under the battery to avoid relocating the battery but I don't like my chances, wish me luck.
