Not Overly Happy With Centre Muffler Removal

hey fellas

ive got a 08 fgxr6t and just had the centre muffler removed and replaced with straight through pipe, its alot louder then I thort and does drone a fair bit, considering getting it put back in and maybe try the rear muffler removal? or is it going to be similar sound wise?

it does sound okay when I got a mate to drive past when he was giving it abit it sounded like a jet but yeah not so great when driving around normally.

wish I read that before getting it done haha, I thort most people get the centre removed and it sounded good that's why I wemt with that.

may try the rear romoved and centre re added haha

should have read the thread here first about removing a muffler.

for sedans you must put hotdogs in. for utes straight pipes are fine.

by the time you put center muffler back in, and remove rear muffler. may as well buy a cat back.

poor man pays twice.

Well just had the centre put back in and the rear removed for a straight pipe and twin 3" tips put on, and all I can say is that I wish I did it the first time! Sounds alot better then the centre renoved, not as loud and tractor like, and isnt hardly drony at all in the cab!

So for anyone I would deff not reccoment removing centre muffler on a fg id assume the others would be the same, but each to their own I guess
