I want to remove the spoiler, a lot of people have said it really easy and others say its easier to buy a new boot, really dont want to do that.

also, has anyone had any experience in connecting the parcel shelf brake light as it will need to be connected once the spoiler is removed.

Removing the spoiler is as simple as undoing the bolts from inside the boot. The problem is, you're then left with holes in the top of your boot. Some people have just filled them with some sort of waterproof filler (easy if you want to stick a new/different spoiler on top), others have gone all the way to paint over the holes (I have no idea how the fill it, I guess some sort of paint filler in the hole first).

For the light on the parcel shelf, I believe you access it from the Boot, same area as the sub but I haven't read any threads about it for a while.

Yea if you want to permanetly remove it then its cheaper to find a second hand boot in your colour. Looking at about $500 to weld up the holes and have it re-painted.

As for the wiring I don't know exactly but should be as simple as tracing the wires from the boot to the spoiler back into the cab (under the parcel shelf) and tapping into them.

I am pretty sure that the spot where the high brake light would be on the rear windscreen is actually blacked out on mine? (FG)....
