ljf12 Donating Members 20 Member For: 13y 10m 4d Posted 30/07/13 11:05 AM Share Posted 30/07/13 11:05 AM I am trying to remove the turbocharger off a 2002 XR6, I am having a problem and have not been able to find an answer on forums etc.My car has the support bracket that is attached to the engine(engine mount?) and also the lower two studs where the turbocharger is bolted to the exhaust manifold.To remove the turbocharger the bracket has to be unbolted from the engine, my problem is I can't access the the bolt closest to the rear because the engine mount heat shield is covering it.Does anyone know how to remove the engine mount heatshield ?Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Are you saying you leave the "H" bracket bolted to the engine mount/block and remove the lower two manifold to turbo studs ?
