Not a hard install, pretty easy compared to the kit I I stalled in my old gti golf which had a H4 lamps with low and high beam in them. The mk2 uses one H7 lamp for the low beam and another H7 for the high beams so danimal would be correct in saying that HIDs shouldn't be used for high beams both for ignition time issues, also longevity of the lamps and longevity of the ballasts. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
