Serious assault at the 1.07 on Sunday May 15th with the Nissan Sporting Car club.

Should get some clear laps in hopefully.

First serious attempt with the GTX3576R on E85 in cooler temps.

High volume finned ZF sump and some chassis alignment tweaks the only other changes.

285 R7 Hoosiers on the front, 275 on the back.

Been trying for about 5 years now. :)

Staggered the other way around?

Bizarre

Only have one pair of 10.5" rims at the moment. 285's at the front will provide better braking and turn in with a bit of lift off oversteer across the top.

Entry speed will be a bit higher with the stickier fronts.

Good luck, mate :spoton: always enjoy reading your updates of your circuit stuff as not a lot of T guys attack circuit racing with much gusto.

Wow. I have 275 rears on mine but would need better offset wheels with some guard work to go any bigger and you have 285s up front? Do you still retain full steering motion?

I'm trying to set a bunch of times around Vic with a stock powered BA 5 speed myself. Next is Phillip Island.

Pic updates please! Love the car and your work.

Yeah love the circuit racing

Hows the gtx3576r holding up?

Mid range is very strong in 3rd gear and have to be very smooth, progressive with throttle application on corner exit.

So I know its not as black and white as this but would a bigger turbo been more suitable?

Definitely not on a relatively small circuit like Wakefield.

Last thing I've been wanting is more power.

Coolant gets too hot, too laggy on corner exit, and earlier braking points are required.

To be honest, I never use full steering lock at the circuit even getting in and out of pit garage.

The power steering fluid gets hot enough even with a much bigger PS cooler.

3.5neg camber, rolled front guards and +19 offset helps.
