(didnt see the money in the growler)They are the only mods ive done to the car, and I put it on the dyno today to just get a power figure.I was just using 91 petrol as I filled up when the petrol rocked not too long ago.I made 152.8Rwkw (204.7rwhp).Is that normal? Has anyone else seen these figures with those mods?Im looking to put an underdrive pulley on within the next couple of weeks, can anyone tell me if they do much?(if you have experience). And are there any other cheapish mods that I can do to gain more power? Thanks. Why put crap fuel in your pride and joy?98 should see a small gain. How much I don't know. Lot of variables.

To help as a comparison from a while back: 5 litre auto VP c/odre that also ran on 91 octane. Small cam / extractors / cold air / twin 2 and 1/4 inch exhaust made 166rwkw. 98 octane will help your BA a bit but without a retune you will not get the full advantage. Better brains on here than mine will know for sure but I don't think the BA ignition timing tables will go far enough to "use" the octane rating in the fuel. IMO, you might get 8 - 10 RWKW.Just for info - that same Late model camira was later tuned for 98 and only picked up 6 RWKW. The tuner claimed the factory intake manifold was/is a big restrictor on that car along with a very low c/ratio ( I think stock was about 8.5 to 1).No experience yet with E85 so cannot say.In terms of low buck mods, your underdrive pulley set up will give you some more at the top end and is cheaper than running the car on 98 all of the time. There are some results with u/drive setups on the forum - some claimed 6 RWKW from memory. Some advice ( rare for me ) = don't over invest and save up for a turbo or an FG N/A with the 6 speed auto. Can my car run it with a tune through it?I was planning to tune it anyway, but should I tune it for E85?Also, either on E85, or ULP 98, with my mods and future mods..-F6 Lower Snorkel-Xr8 Higher Snorkel-Pacemakers 4495 Extractors 2.5" Exhaust System.-Underdrive Pulley.Do you think I'd make 180rwkw?Thanks. BRK Member 361 Member For: 12y 11m 18d Gender: Male Location: Perth Posted 24/07/13 12:40 AM Share Posted 24/07/13 12:40 AM IMO, no you will not. The standard F6 air intake system with the KN filter you have now will support over 240 RWKW at the tyres - I know this for sure because in my early work on my T. I took the lid off the airbox on the dyno and routed cold air into the intake system it and it made no difference at that power level. With a good 98 tune and underdrives I think you will get to 165 ( give or take ). Cannot comment on E85 but remember the motor has to be able to use the fuel it in terms of camshaft timing, compression and ignition timing. Turbo's love it - because the octane rating is high which means more boost and ignition timing can be used. Simple maths tells us that a static comp ratio of 8.5 plus I bar of boost (14.7 psi) gives an effective comp ratio of over 16:1.A camshaft + spring kit would see 180 or more - BUT that is a bit beyond low buck mods and unless you are absolutely tied to the N/A route it is something to really think about in terms of dollars versus power gain.
