After a couple weeks it sounded like there was a 'muffle' sound from inside the engine bay,so I took the heat shields off to inspect further & a definate leak seems to be coming at the point of connection between the cat & dump pipe.My question is what affect does this have on my car if any?(performance wise & any detrimental affects leaving it like this).Depending on answers above if this leak was present during the dyno tune would it mean a re-tune may be needed when the leak is fixed? If it is bad, then you may loose a little throttle response when not on boost and between idle and 1700rpm. I would also think your tuner would hear any leaks as they listen to cars every day and there ears are fine tuned to any problem sounds. No need for a retune if it is a leak after the turbo(unless there is a hole in your dump pipe of course, then you may run a little rich when coming on boost once repaired). My 2 cents anyway. Tuner said I had a sus wastegate hence why bit sluggish. Not sure Tuner noticed it or whether it was there initially but I can even notice from inside the cabin.
