Possible Transmission Problem?

Hey guys,

I've had a quick search and I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for, probably because I really don't know how to word what I'm about to say but, I'll give it a crack.

I recently bought a BF F6 Typhoon in auto and have noticed when trying to have a play (ie, small slide from a corner or wheelspin) the transmission seems to make a bang/clunk (something like that) when engaging to the next gear. I am keeping my foot down the entire time.

I had a BF Ute 4sp auto a while back and I never had that issue, it just changed gears and kept going. I'm doing exactly what I used to, yet now it does that.

Is there something wrong with my gearbox or is it just me?

Cheers.

Cheers guys. I'll get it looked at when I get a chance and let you guys know if it was/wasn't the problem.

Thanks for your help.

My local mechanic was a former Ford mechanic so I'll ask him how much he reckons it will be to supply and fit and I'll post in here for you.

It's strange how it does it only when I want to skid or slide. Has no problems when it's got traction. Though, it's one way to keep you from doing silly stuff.

Is it okay to keep driving for now, or should I stop and get it done immediately?
