Boganspeed Will do skids for food Silver Donating Members 1,177 Member For: 12y 11m 16d Gender: Male Location: Perth SOR Posted 19/07/13 09:23 PM Share Posted 19/07/13 09:23 PM I wouldnt think the stock tachs are very accurate, especially if you have a donk that spins up quickly, as they're built down to a price.If you're serious about hitting shift points, then a quality tach is a good way to go.What I have done on the bike I use at the drags is fit two shift lights, the yellow one comes on at 11,000 the red comes on at 12,000 so I get 500rpm warning of when to shift. Besides 1st to 2nd when things can be hectic on a turbo bike, I hit my shift points pretty much all the time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
