Hey guys, I've been looking at lowering my fg for a little while since then I have been accepted into Uni, so I am on a bit of a budget (around $1000.) I've had a look around and the sssl combo looks pretty nice I also want one of those camber arms for the rear. I'll be mainly be driving on country roads and sometimes in the city. I would like to try my the springs on my factory shocks except I have heard of them dying pretty early and would like to keep them in case I need to return to stock. Just wondering what you guys think is the best option go with factory shocks, cheap shocks or save for some decent shocks like bilsteins or koni reds?

Cheers Roweyy

Did this on ssl all round then after changed to monroe GT sport.

After changing to the monroe I realized I should have done this at time of changing springs.

Ride was very choppy and jarring not to mention boat like.

If you're trying to go cheap, at least get something like the Monroe jobbers. It will be a horrendous drive on the stock shockers.
