If the inspection plate was made put of 3mm mild steel or 5mm billet aluminium bolted every 30mm around the outside using a nice gasket material, it would be mint. A lot of people try fixing axle tramp issues with bush changes when infact it is the factory dunlops on their 17 and 18 inch wheels causing the issue. The bushes were thought to be foobar and were to be replaced under warranty. I asked if the option to get nolethane was available and I got all three done for $290.
