Why so much fail? If the inspection plate was made put of 3mm mild steel or 5mm billet aluminium bolted every 30mm around the outside using a nice gasket material, it would be mint. I would patent that and sell the idea to ford! The aftermarket bushes under warranty a fail?

Those tyres axle tramp bad!! They are made in china. Unlike the 19 inch dunlops.

A lot of people try fixing axle tramp issues with bush changes when infact it is the factory dunlops on their 17 and 18 inch wheels causing the issue.

No they will not fit aftermarket bushes under warranty.

I had this exact issue. The bushes were thought to be foobar and were to be replaced under warranty. I asked if the option to get nolethane was available and I got all three done for $290. This was to cover the cost of the parts.

When they went to take the bushes out, there was nothing wrong with them, but they did get damaged in the process of removing them.

Ask and ye shall receive.

Edited to say I have 19" rims

I have the 19s and axle tramp as well.

Reading around, lots of different things have worked for different people.

For me it was changing the control blade bushes and upgrading the shocks to bilsteins

Seems to be something to do with the manuals by the sounds of it.

I believe changing the shocks will help as well, that is next on my list.

I will be changing all 4 corners though.

The other thing I am doing this week or next week is changing the rear boots as I have almost worn out the dunlops after 25K worth of Kms.

Hopefully I can update everyone then as I strongly believe that the issue is the tires.........
