has anyone got the axle tramp issues looked at and fixed through warranty?

Ive test driven a few Auto's and this manual I have now is way worse.

At the Last service ...the service centre said they couldn't see anything wrong...to me its bad

If it turns out to be Bushes will they fit non Ford Bushes?

Nolathane or SuperPro ?

TIA

I will push the issue ....they (Ford) will I hope at least do something and perhaps fit new original bushes.... After reading about so many falcon and territory owners having these issues..I kinda wonder how this issue could not warrant a recall....perhaps there are just too many for ford to fix if they did.

if I can get them replaced with stock bushes...I would think about either adding a diff bush insert, whiteline or nolathene..or fill the voids with sikaflex.. but can you do either when the axle is in situ?.....

why didn't they put a diff bush inspection panel in the boot well knowing the issue is likely occur.

You can always put your own "diff bush inspection panel" in the boot. I plan to use a hatch like you see on kayaks and some small sailing boats which will end up pop riveted in to cover up my self made "diff bush inspection panel" I plan on making. It will allow for replacement of the diff bush so I can do some skids, wreck a diff bush, pull over and replace it with a new one (haha hopefully with a good super pro bush that never happens).

Quite a few say it's hell dodgy, I reckon its only dodgy if it looks dodgy or if a workshop does it that you've paid.

making your own inspection panel is an option....you don't get to see it sitting in the boot well..so if its done right then it would be ok Id reckon...would save a hell of a lot of work time and money.

...when the warranty expires will look into doing that ... & also tackling the ICC (POC!)

Lol, my dealer installed a 4:11 pinion and crown wheel in my GT under warranty. I bought the gears and they installed them.

I can't see why they wouldn't if you offered to cover the cost of the bushes. It will be better for them! In every way.
