It will depend on how you drive but for me there is really not that much in it.

On United I get on average 350klms a tank approx 19L/100klms @ 1.30 68L costs 88.40 25c per klm

On e-flex I get on average 380klms a tank approx 18L/100klms @ 1.30 68L costs 88.40 23c per klm

On 98ron I get on average 500klms a tank approx 13.5L/100klms @ 1.70 68L costs 115.60 23c per klm

e-flex wins for me

I do about 500klms per week and it is almost 50/50 highway/start stop traffic.

Hope this helps

I have only just started to use United and have found it to be on par in price with the e-flex but this may be because of the elevated prices.

What is the price for both in Adelaide at the moment?

A lot in litres. I don't have a E85 bowser around home, so I will need to bring it home in 200ltr drums. Which means a lot of trips to the bowser and the bowser is 45min away from me. I shoulda been a little more descriptive.

What pump do you run with your setup? I would assume I would need a bigger pump to run e85 as I will use more. For example; if I am running 550 horsepower on 98, I would need a 650hp pump to run 550hp on E85 as I am using 50% more fuel. I would assume I would need bigger injectors too due to them needing to squirt 50% more fuel to make 550hp.

I know I will make more power on E85, I am just using 550 as a set number for the comparison.

Would my assumption be correct?

Give it a bit of time and United will have more pumps running E85 here in WA. They seem to be slowly rolling it out. Osborne Park is getting it next according to other posts I've read.

Great number crunching red nose. I do similar driving mix as you so if petrol price goes through the roof I might look at fitting for E85.
