I'll play Devil's Adcovate here and say if people want XR fronts on their XLs well let 'em. It's still only an XL, doesn't make it worth any more. Not everybody can afford a 'proper' XR

Just let them dream on if that's what they want to do. But in their defence, there are some XR6 owners that want to put on XR8 bonnets also. Is that any different?

Simple, im sick of it as well, but thanks to fords good pricing structure not many can afford to do it!

Well coming from the rice side of the family but being born and bread ford man.

Yes it's sacrilige to have xr8 bonnets on xr6's and even worse xl's but it's not something you'll ever be able to stop.

I have a wrx with a STi bodykit I put it on my car because it looked good.

When I get my T I'll be putting the GT wing and XR8 bonnet on it ... Just to stand out and be different.

what kind of society would we live in if everyone lived like robots.

but to go on topic, Yes I do agree that that FoMoCo let customers put xr fronts on thier xt's, in the same way they let xr6 customers buy bonnets.

I don't care what you want to put on oyur car honestly. If it's your own car, no one elses, you own it or whatever, it's your car. do as you wish IMO.

All ford do is build it. why should they or anyone else for that matter have any say in what you want to do with it?

next they'll be spraying XT's in Blueprint, Phantom, Citric and Blood Orange...

I know there was a comment earlier that this is not possible due to the computer not recognising the codes, but I am just using it to make a point...
