I don't see how an I/c can change things that much,, no different to driving in summer or winter???? factory ecu would compensate this !

4 inch air box and the plenum is the major worry the bigger cooler with the exhaust will cause over boost from what I understand multiply that by the shorter intake and then with a plenum adding all that extra space for it to actually reach the motor you can see we're very well in the danger zone of over boosting could move A/Fs I don't have a surge tank either just in tank 400lph and that working hard as it is this one's no stocker it's got all the right bits for it to flow just don't want that flow before we have the tune down pat :P

Haha little u know my ba went from a tuned 14psi to 28psi spike from a wog cooler to a full v3.0 rapid kit, lucky thinking about it now how it survived the coupla days until it got retuned

I also did not listen to the good advice of "dont flog it until its retuned"

Directed at me?

Mine wasn't, drove it 500km and installed injectors at Dave's place. Kept it under 3k rpm which was tricky when overtaking

Directed at you but also for everyone else here.

My car was tuned for basic mods, then I fitted plenum/cooler/4" etc and actually dyno'd it. Like I've posted already, afrs were fkd.

But everyone seems to skip past that and look for the answer they want.

14.7 at idol is pretty up to sh*t, I didn't think it would get that far out of whack at idol. But I haven't heard of any blown motors cruising for a tune...
