Lame as you like topic !

Can the FG2 XR6T be given a slightly softer quieter ride.?

Don't get me wrong I love the thing to bits...but on the highway boy its noisy and bumpy...running stock wheels/tyres from new ..... but Im getting close to tyre replacement time.

Aside from the frowns I'm sure I deserve :) ...is their a replacement tyre or tyre size that can help.?

I'm not talking G6 softness..... just a noticeable difference.

Cheers

A set of koni shocks will smooth the ride out, you could also look at moving up one size in tyre profile. Try to get a European brand of tyre too, they generally run a bit softer

Just Checked to be sure...I have currently Dunlop SP Maxx 245/40/R18

So what about a profile/size such as 245/45 or 245/50 ? how far can we go safely..

This one isn't European but it says its a quiet tyre...Yokohama.
