Externally gated doesn't bother me, as long as I can use the factory turbo manifold.Any ideas???Or any previous experiences? Thanks! He's doing some trick billet wheels based on Borgwarner wheels that good results are coming from.. I think for him to mod my GT3582R to an up-spec GTX was around 700ish... food for thought. Maybe OP needs to look elsewhere before he changes the turbo, as 450 is no where near its potential unless there's a 5k stall in it. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/85533-best-baf-aftermarket-turbocharger-for-the-right/#findComment-1404545 Share on other sites

And the only reason I'm replacing it is because its completely flogged out.And yes, its got a 4500 stall. So you guys reckon I should just upgrade to a GTX3582R?Thanks for the input everyone! Something quarter mile in a pretty stock f6 with a gtx3582r. I was thinking gtx4202r myself but have been told the gtx3582r is mint and very punchy of the mark with a little stally. How does that affect drivability in stop/start traffic?
