that's true... well the car has a bit of work done to it...

Its auto, its run a best of 11.1 and it made 450rwhp with the std turbo maxed out.

So I would love to see it climb over that 500rwhp mark hehe

Standard BA/F turbo is capable of 500hp at the treads on 98 fuel,on e85 mine is at 422kw / 565hp at the wheels.

GT3582R on mine modded is at 387rwkw (519hp).. held back by valve springs.

You can have your stock turbo modded out with different comp wheels, covers etc. If you're in perth, I'd suggest talking to Grant at Per4manz Turbochargers in welshpool. He's doing some trick billet wheels based on Borgwarner wheels that good results are coming from.. I think for him to mod my GT3582R to an up-spec GTX was around 700ish... food for thought.

Christians 9.9 was on a stock turbo. Maybe OP needs to look elsewhere before he changes the turbo, as 450 is no where near its potential unless there's a 5k stall in it.

Yah but its my daily driver so it had to be reliable and it was tuned on 17psi. And the only reason I'm replacing it is because its completely flogged out.

And yes, its got a 4500 stall.

So you guys reckon I should just upgrade to a GTX3582R?

Thanks for the input everyone!

Simon at xft is running a 9. Something quarter mile in a pretty stock f6 with a gtx3582r. I was thinking gtx4202r myself but have been told the gtx3582r is mint and very punchy of the mark with a little stally.

Daily with a 4500 stall, far out! How does that affect drivability in stop/start traffic?
