Hey guys,

I've had a mate who's got a 335GT engine and drivetrain he's looking to get rid of and I'm wondering if it's possible to throw it into my BA? it would come with the ecu and dif as well. I know it's a big job and most likely not possible but if it is I'd be doing it.... Any idea's?

BTW if there's a thread already open on this I can't find it.....

No reason it cant as long as you have the correct ecu...and maybe bcm and Icc...

I wouldnt waist my time on it though would be better retro fitted to an early model.

You might need the ba xr8 sump and pick up (provided they fit). but I think it would be doable and a great sleeper, I know when I see a ba xr8 or gt I think to myself "this will be slow"

Probably doable, just keep in mind that the sump is different as crossmember is located in different spot on FG model cars.

BA XR8 sump will not fit as Coyote engine is totally different to the old 5.4 ltr BOSS.

that's 2 votes for coyote into something old school.....

and I would rate that highly too

so make that three.......

if people saw a coyote into a BA they would be "ok cool", but coyote into anything post X D would be "that's kick @ss"

im sure you could pick up a rolling shell for reasonably cheap....

except wouldnt fit as easily as in a ba. or handle, or be comfy.
