Hey im pretty keen to paint my rims black (stock xr6t 18s) and was just wanting some advice. Do it myself or take it to someone? Im from adelaide if anyone knows a place that does it without needing spare rims to swap onto while its done...anyone whos done it how much work and cost is involved? Were u happy with the results? Cheers

Use plastidip to DIY and if you stuff it just peel off and try again!

I got mine done a couple of months ago and loved the result, I had them done in perth though and cost me $100 a rim to get painted and they had it done in a day. this was at kustom panel and paint so its was a quality job. not sure on how to upload photos though hah

I'm a spray painter so naturally I did mine myself at work.

Pay to get them done properly, even I wouldn't do them at home and expect to be happy with the result.

I painted my wheels today, was a cheap backyard job but better then paying someone to do it and then not being 100% happy. especially when going outside the box.

Powder coating may be a better option depending on the price?
