Yes I will ask Mr Tuner man but as a rough guide which would be more appropriate idle / power / economy wise considering the following mods and desired outcome for my G6ET.

PW stage 1 cooler + pipes

Street fighter air box

Venom 100 cpi cat

I'm not chasing a dyno figure, more so driveability, reliability and a bit more go. I'm also (fingers crossed) not going to be doing anymore power mods in the future as I'd like to concentrate on suspension and maybe true trac next.

I understand a good tuner can play with the duty cycle if the injector is willing, but which would you go for and why?

Always try to select an injector for the target power

550cc is the better choice here

If you go for the GT500 550cc EV14, they have a 12degree offset to suit the GT500 intake port. IMO they're better installed upside down if you can as it looks to have a more direct spray to the valves.

Good info, I already have the 1000CC EV14, was just a bit concerned they may be overkill. Was thinking of swapping for 550's but after a bit of reading and talking to my tuner I'll stick with the 1000's. Will see how we go.

I've got the 1000cc EV14 injectors.. they are perfectly fine with idle/ running. happy I chose them. BUT J@'s right.. rather choose an injector based on your prefered power output
