Kilmo, which dealership in Perth did you get your car from? If it is from the midland guys, they are a bitch to deal with.

Lucky for me I got my car from Seaview ford and I have a good relationship with the service manager there.

I have spoken to him about my intentions and all is good. as long as I have done nothing stupid, most of the work should be covered under warranty.

Try and speak to the service manager and see what he says.

For a serious note... If u put wheels on and a stud breaks they won't cover ... If u put an inter cooler and injectors in and you engine blows they will probably reject your claim etc... However if u put a cai on and your bushes I <3 Bananas out they won't give a rats ass Really...

Well unless they wanna be total priiks...

I have seen sh*t loads of warranty claims come through for so many different things... Tbh depends on whether u have a Wednesday car or not...

A agree with Ralphy... If ya wanna mod just mod ...

I can see both sides to the argument, I mean if you buy it brand new and there's a problem from factory that doesn't come to surface until 10,000kms and you've already modded it up and then you get knocked back from ford repairing it because of a mod that you've done you'll be pretty pi$$ed off I know I would.

The way I see it though, if your doing minor mods and something effs up you can always just put the original parts back on and take it in

Ahh well just my 2c

I would wait 12 months for all running items to be tested then if you want to go the Mod thing go hard. If something breaks after then around an item you have Moded then you only have yourself to blame and just pay to get it fixed will be no different with Ford.
