Hi all,

I'm not sure if this has been covered before.

I have a FG XR6 turbo sedan and am considering changing both front and rear sway bars to Whiteline's either regular or adjustable.

Will there be much handling improvement over the standard bars and can anyone tell me what is the thickness of the standard XR6T sway bars and how they compare with Whitelines?.

Thanks,

Sixpack

Thanks for the info.

I am trying to find the thickness of the factory sway bars that came with my FG XR6T so I can make a direct comparison with the Whiteline.

It would be also interesting to know what they used in the FG F6

Thanks

I think the fg xr6t is around 32-33 mm, or something like that, but isn't solid whereas whiteline is. Have heard from someone who does a lot of track work that the solid makes a big difference.

I bought a vernier on ebay and took some measurements

Front 32mm

Rear 18mm

Next would be to compare against the Whiteline std and adjustables to see if it is worth the change though I'm a bit concerned if my standard bars are hollow as bulletime suggests.

How do I know if they are hollow?
