these generic tunes......f*ck up cars.......still in business.??.....I suppose, if people are gonna buy it then theres money to be made. like fake car parts from china, if theres money to be made they will do it...after all they have families to feed just like us.

Each cars different, in therory there all supposed to be the same, but there not, especially if its a couple or even years old. you canhave 2 FG (etc..) xr6t come striaght from factory, in the same production line...no.102 and 103. one may have 5-20kw more/less then the other.

my advice, get rid of the tune , save (even if you hve to go to ford to get factory tuneback on) then go to a recomended tuner.

Jas98, thanks for answering. I am not sure how you guys came up with the generic tune, but I am assuming it has something to do with the capa device, what ever that may be. Essentially you guys are saying that the car needs to be tuned or there is gonna be oil on the track.

If your prepared to get a better intercooler or better yet, a complete intercooler kit from Process West /Plazmaman/ Nizpro, and run 98 octane fuel then you'll reduce the risk of detonation, if your not planning on that and you don't know what detonation is or what it sounds like, stay clear from the pre loaded flash box.

I'm running a generic tune (at my own risk) and the car has never missed a beat, in saying that, I run a Process west intercooler kit, eboost, and I am constantly monitoring a/f ratios and whatever else I can with an Innovate OT2 (obd2 data logger)...

(Before use go on I have already spoken to Joe at CMS and I will be getting a tune with my next stage of upgrades)

Thanks Joe

Btw, I ran a 13.0@107mph with a 10psi generic tune mate, BF2 ZF auto
