Awesome!... its hard to tell what one sounds like off youtube clip sometimes.

I might just throw a couple hot dogs on the rears and see how that goes....

My old VE R8, all I did was put hot dogs on the rears and heaps of people said it was the best one they had heard. and it cost me $250!!!

I also agree with Buf- Phoon ... Every time I take the new girl out for a whirl , give me as many horses as available , however, I fell like every time I feel the need for speed , everyone else is on the brakes - Grrrrr!! . So I am constantly looking for a opportunity to stretch her legs , whilst constantly taking deep breaths , trying not to do a Micheal Douglas in the middle of traffic... If it was a daily driver , and having more than stock, I can only imagine it would only be a matter of time that I find myself cross up like Tom Cruise in Top Gun , and crying all the way to the panel shop with the new girl jammed up someone's rear!!!.

I know it still early days for me and the new girl , but I can't imagine how it would feel to have 400+ as a daily driver??? 400+ as a toy - bring it on!!!!!

Nice to hear from ChillR after the mods!! . :-)

To be honest, If tuned correctly, these cars are docile as stock when just cruising around.

I'm pushing 450+ and even when I got the foot flat, spinning through gears, it's easy to handle.

Sure, at times it feels like my car wants to kill me, but that's becuase my right foot is sitting a little heavy on the gas.

As soon as I just drive it normally, you wouldn't even tell its tuned.

Exactly what Rob said...

He said you could let your mrs drive around in it no worries. It will drive just the same as it does now, but when you give it to it. F**KIN HANG ON!!!

24 hrs away before I'll be picking it up.... Can... not.... wait.

I'll report back once its done and Ive done some driving!!

I believe my GT feels safer to drive than my old FG turbo. Torque delivery is strong but progressive. The Turbo was sledge hammer torque delivery at 3000rpm and worrying if anyone not accustomed to it was behind the wheel.

Agree - the new girl feels at home at just cruising along - short shifting all the way to the shops , but that supercharged whirl , just makes you want to push harder and then in traffic , that is what gets you into trouble - although those brakes will stop you on a dime. The note and whirl are so special - and because it so easy to go from a lazy cruise to full out attack - I was just thinking as a daily driver you are more often in this position - cruise to full on attack and with more mambo under the bonnet I can not help to think with time you are going to end up in someone boot:-) .

I don't drive the new girl as a daily drive and each time I get in - I look forward to that full on attack.

Further - cruising along short shifting with more mambo is not going to good for the heads? Is it?????

Ill definitely report back after abit of a drive tonight. Hopefully it doesnt get to wet so I can give it abit of sh*te.

Also decided im going to bite the bullet and put in stg 2 input shaft....

really cant be bothered with the standard being such a risk... I'd hate to be away somewhere when it goes.

I know nothing in unbreakable but im confident the stg2 will hold up fine!!
