(I.e. replace with traditional metal plates)I looked at him kinda strange and he said that they have had problems when new fords are damaged and the compliance stickers are removed (and damaged in acordance with their design) from the engine bay for the repairs that ford will not replace the compliance stickers. But FORS and FEDERAL LAW states that all vehicles must be fitted with a COMPIANCE PLATE (not a shonky plastic sticker) to show that that vehicle meets ADR standards. If the Jap importers have to spend small fortunes for car mods and compliance plate approval, why should FMC get any special favours. Apparently all the new 2003 Fords have stickers instead of plates and it's a major pain in the ass to get replacement stickers if you need them. Choice is yours. :argue: Yoda I hope that you get a good one when your car arrives, but fork out plenty for a dud and see how you feel, and beleive me even though most of the dealerships would obviously like to help with problems, they are not magicians either. too many tempermental electronic doo dads for sustain reliability I think.
