Lower the tune, drive it with mechanical sympathy and save pennies for a custom tune, it will be far more worth it from what you've said in regards to finding just the right car with good condition leather etc. Would be a very sad day for you if it popped. Would just have to wait for 1 to come up.. only thing is its obviously a gamble if the motor is good or not. Usually there's 3 months warranty unmodified. Tbh if mine pops ill probly just grab a 2nd hand fg motor.
