The total cost was $3450.00 which included $313.64 in GST - there was no breakdown of the invoice included, but I assume the centre itself was around $1200 (based on ebay prices), bearings/seals/oil around $500 and the rest in labour.Too much? You'll always be chasing more power mate I would bite the bullet and get a built one at hardy at around $1000 and then never worry about it again. Then remove it and check the measurement with it out. (measure centre bearing to the rear cv whilst pushing the cv inward,then again with pulling it outward to give you its free play) if the measurement "installed" is roughly in the middle of the other two measurements you shouldnt have a problem. I know the rear cv have some give and take in length as they have a plunging action to take up movement from the diff.
